Nov 21, 2019 - The Collective: A Faction Ski Film
Faction Skis has collaborated with Red Bull media to create a mind-blowing feature length ski film.
Come and check it out on the big screen, and share a night to remember with the collective.
Expect thrills, spills, giveaways and loads more surprises!

Part of the proceeds will be supporting the Snow Valley Christmas Cheer committee.

Nov 14 & 21, 2019 - GearHub Backcountry Awareness Workshop
Whether you're a backcountry beginner of just looking to brush up your knowledge, this workshop is for anyone who wants to learn more about the backcountry and how to travel safely through it.
We will cover topics including:
- What is unique about Fernie’s Backcountry
- Safe Travel basics
- Backcountry gear and how to use it
- Information resources and how to use them
- and more!
PLUS our BCA rep will be there with some sweet backcountry draw prizes and swag, and we'll be offering some one-night-only specials on backcountry gear!

Fernie's favourite group rides leave from Gearhub every Monday and Friday at 6PM.
Open to mountain bikers of all levels, with a FREE post-ride beer sponsored by the Pub!

This beginner-oriented workshop will cover the basics of caring for and maintaining your mountain bike. Our expert technicians will cover basics like:
- trailside repairs
- proper cleaning techniques
- suspension set up
- tire pressure
- and more!
Bring your questions, and bring your own bike to work on.

So you've heard the hype about Rocky Mountain's e-assist bikes, and you want to try one out - well you're in luck!
We'll have Mediums and Larges of the Instinct and Altitude Powerplays available for demos from August 6-12!
Bring a helmet, your favourite pedals (or borrow some of ours), some photo ID and a credit card.

GearHub Sports will be hosting a demo in Fernie with Rocky Mountain on Saturday May 18th, and everyone's invited!
The demo will run from 10am-3pm.

Saturday, May 4, 2019 - Fernie Hiking Trails Book Launch
Author Terry Nelson will be at GearHub from 10am - 2pm on May 4 to talk all things hiking!
Terry's new book, Fernie Area Hiking Trails and Natural Plant Compendium will be available for purchase. - $25, cash only!
Terry Nelson is an avid hiker and biker, and a former president of the Fernie Trails Alliance.
