The BBT-179 is a heavy duty tool constructed from precision-machined 4140 steel for removal and installation of select threaded bottom brackets with 12-notch tool fittings; including SRAM BSA DUB; Race Face Cinch; and Rotor BSA30; it features an extra-deep body to accommodate extra-wide spindles and low-profile walls for recessed lockrings; three engagement methods are offered: a 3/8" drive fitting; a 1" hex fitting; and 36mm wrench flats; integrated threads allow use with the Park Tool BBT-RS retaining system or GPS-1 guide pins for added stability.
