Built with Shimano's fifth-generation resin friction compound, this pad offers quieter, more controlled braking along with a big durability boost, about 50% more wear resistance than the J03A pad and over double that of the older J02A. The integrated cooling fin and alloy back plate help reduce brake fade on longer descents. It is designed for 2-piston calipers across a wide range of Shimano mountain and road-disc groups such as the BR-M8100, BR-M7100, and BR-RS785.
